Update Your Log

Children ages 3-12 are invited to register for our Summer Reading Program. “Go Green @ your library" is sponsored by the Brookline Public Library, the Boston Bruins, the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners, and the Massachusetts Regional Library System. Children may register in person at the library or online. Titles of books read may be recorded online on a personal reading log. At the end of the summer, participants will show their logs to the librarians and be rewarded for their reading by choosing a book bag, a piggy bank, or an item from a previous year.

Once again we will be participating in Heifer International’s Read to Feed Program. Just drop a coin or two in the containers when visiting the Library. This year you may choose to support either the gift of Tree Seedlings or a Llama. Please join us for all of the green-themed programs at the Library starting June 24 with Animal Invaders from the Museum of Science at the Main Library or Melissa Green’s music concert at Putterham. Pick up a schedule of events at the library or check our website for details.
